Bullet Point Summary
- Jesus finished his mission on Earth
- 50 days after Jesus rose from the dead, Pentecost was celebrated
- On this day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came and made the Apostles holy
- The Apostles, in turn, made the Church holy
- Through this Holy Church, and Jesus, we can access the Father
- Only through the Jesus can we experience eternal life
- God gives us eternal life through Jesus
- Soon he will raise us to him through Christ
The first line says that after Jesus finished his mission, which was to save us and establish the Church, the Holy Spirit came and made the Church holy. It's like when the moon finishes being in the sky, the sun comes to make everything bright. Once the Church was holy, we can go to heaven. But the only to get to heaven is through Jesus. Soon, Jesus will come again to Earth, and bring everyone who loves him to heaven.
